Summary: SLC is designed to develop the leadership and facilities-related vocational and academic skills of Black and Latinx male HS students in a cohort of our RISE Schools. 12-15 rising seniors will have the opportunity to participate in SLC as preparation for applying leadership skills in school and the workforce. In addition, SLC will increase the students’ awareness of the field of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Facilities Management (FM). The program will consist of multiple content sessions, opportunities to shadow professionals in an active work environment, and potential mentorship/Internship opportunities, culminating in the submission for the 10K Scholarship for post-secondary vocational training certified program.
