Aspiring AP Academy
Launching November 2021

Summary: This cohort-style development will be a 4-part series designed to explore the core skills required for teacher leaders to build their leadership capacity and impact their grade-level teams.  Participants will be enriched with topics such as Building Relationship with Stakeholders, Systems-Thinking, and SEAD-Driven Practices. 

Benefits:

  • Receive tailored support in moving from various teaching and school-based staff roles into readiness for assistant principalship, in ways that will also allow participants to lead from their current position

  • Interact with a community of peers who have similar aspirations to support each other in their DCPS leadership journeys
